EXHIBITION GO AND TAKE A PHOTO

Breathtaking views, the beauty of the mountains, the diversity of culture, architecture and people of the Prešov Region.

Come and enjoy the beautiful photographs of the winners and finalists of the famous competition Choď a foť – Prešov Region 2024 in the premises of the J. M. Petzval Museum in Spišská Belá. The museum is dedicated to the life and work of J. M. Petzval, an inventor and pioneer in the field of photographic optics. It is located in his birthplace.

A total of 60 photographs are printed in large A1 and A2 formats, which enhances the power of the images and the pleasure of viewing them.

The Choď a foť exhibition is traveling, it is located in the premises of the Jozef Maximilián Petzval Museum from May 16 to June 28, 2025. The exhibition is open to visitors during the museum's opening hours.

The twelfth year of the Go and Take a Photo photography competition brought a lot of high-quality images from all over the Prešov Region. In 2024, 245 authors participated in the competition, who sent a total of 1060 photos in nine categories. The winners and finalists were decided by an expert international jury. The organizer of the competition is the Regional Tourism Organization of Northeast Slovakia.

The photographs bring not only an aesthetic experience, but also inspiration for where to go on a trip, for relaxation, sports and entertainment in the Prešov Region.
