11th year Museum of the Year 2013 in the category of specialized museums and galleries with nationwide coverage, the following competition items were entered:

  • Scientific and research activity aimed at acquiring new or summarizing knowledge: "Dictionary of historical technical terms and expressions"
  • Safety, professional protection of collection items - professional treatment of a collection item: "Restoration of the BMW 801 aircraft engine"
  • Presentation and interpretation of collection items, collections and objects of cultural value through new exhibitions: "The beginnings of aviation until 1945"
  • New forms of work with the public, applying museum pedagogy in museum activities: "Science and Technology Center for Children and Youth - Through Play to Knowledge"
