YOUR EYE TO THE UNIVERSE

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the opening of the planetarium at the Slovak Technical Museum in Košice, the museum has prepared a statutory exhibition YOUR EYE INTO SPACE.

Its aim is to remind the public of the historical circumstances of the establishment of the first planetarium in Slovakia, which was ceremonially opened on December 4, 1975, and in particular to make available a selection of instrumentation and demonstration equipment used in observing the universe and explaining astronomical phenomena, which is kept in the collection of the Slovak Technical Museum.

The exhibition will be open to all visitors and astronomy enthusiasts from May 16, 2025 in the premises of the STM main building at Hlavná 88 in Košice.
