The Slovak Technical Museum - Jozef Maximilán Petzval Museum in Spišská Belá invites you to the exhibition The Tatras Connect Us, which presents a unique view of the High Tatras as a space that has connected people, cultures and landscapes on both sides of the border for centuries. Through historical photographs, it presents natural beauty, Tatra architecture, Tatra spas, transport, sports and everyday life, as well as the dynamic development of the region under the majestic peaks.
The exhibition was created in cooperation with the city of Poprad, the State Archives in Prešov, the Poprad Archives, the Archives of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw and the J. M. Petzval Museum in Spišská Belá.
Visitors have the opportunity to discover the Tatras as a symbol of the common heritage of Slovaks and Poles.
